Russ was our loan officer. We were first time home buyers and didn’t know the details of how mortgage works. He guided us through the process explaining every details. The loan application process is online and very easy to navigate. SecurityNational is also an approved lender of Utah Housing Corp. They offer different programs for first time home buyers including a deferred downpayment assistance program which allows qualified buyes to buy home with 0% down payment from their own cash. Never in my life have I worked with someone so competent and on the ball. There were so many things that Russ did behind the scenes that I had no idea about until we were at the closing table and I realized how much work went into getting us approved. We were told by our realtor and other lenders multiple times that we had to have a certain amount set aside for a down payment before we could even start looking for a house. We met Russ, he got us qualified for a state grant and we were in a home less than two months later. He is the man!!! Would recommend him to anyone.
